Title: Bridge.dll

I know, this probably doesn't belong here but....every time I boot up my desktop it brings up an error saying that I'm missing: Bridge.dll does anybody know how to fix this...with out Fdisking my Hard drive and or re-installing xp

you might searh the web for the purpose of bridge.dll... or reinstall some  programs you have recently uninstalled, in case one of them took it with it...

I think Adaware deleted it.  I've tried searching with google, but it brings up nothing (so far) that can help me

run Spybot's, virus scan's and stuff, in case a virus has left something behind in the registery, and through there tries to use that file...

Yeah, I had that one too. From my pre-Firefox days I presume: http://pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/w/winfavorites_bridge.asp

This may be stupid, but...How does that solve the missing Bridge.dll file?

Oops, sorry I skimmed that post instead reading it properly...again!

- Open the registry editor (Start / Run... / regedit.exe)
- Backup your registry before proceeding
- Search & delete entries containing "bridge.dll"
