Yahtzee you legend where are you ??

For some time now i have been trying crack the code of writing the perfect adventure game, and still i have come to no avail. so it has come to my attention to point out a real god of the writers and one who is often overlooked  ***Re Presenting Yahtzee ***

The guy is a genius if you havent already played his games i heavily suggest you do and I'm even being nice enough to supply his link http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/games.htm

As a writer he has the talent of hitting you when you least expect it. and his art style is somewhat phenomenal. what i would really like to do is shake this guys hand again and again

so i raise a glass to yahtzee man, myth, legend in his own pyjamas and big blue cup
Currently working on a project!

Did you finally come out of that rock? Im pretty sure everyone here knows Yahtzee, and yes I agree with you about his delivery in stories.

scotch

He's probably the most popular and well known person making original freeware adventure games. Not that he doesn't deserve praise, because he's done some nice stuff and most importantly finished it and got it out there, but he's hardly overlooked!

Sam.

Oh golly wow! This GUy is just awesome, I've just started playing through 6 Days a Surgeon but its really good. I'm amazed at hoew someone can make words and pictures together.

Good Find Sinsin!
Bye bye thankyou I love you.

Why the heck did Yahtzee leave the forums?

Here is why.

Finding a reason to leave these forums is like finding a haystack in a pile of needles.

Some days, anyway...

Arthur C. Clarke is very well known, actually.

Captain Lexington

I'm not sure I would want the Y man back. I go to FR regularly, but I also go to the FR forums, and he is still a prick. But he's funny as hell. And Trilby's Notes is the best freeware adventure game I've ever played.

Fleshstalker

He makes great games, but I would like to see him make a game where more effort is put on the graphics. Thats about the only thing that I would like to see from him. Would be awesome and here's hoping his next game takes a big leap in graphics.

Dave Gilbert

Ahhh and another Yahtzee worship thread pops up.  Damn, I want that guy's power.

Disco

I guess I'm in a minority that pretty much ignores his games, somewhat on principle. While 5 Days was one of my first AGS games and it was okay, I have since revoked my support after spending a few minutes on that site you so graciously linked Sinsin :)

BOYD1981

i worship you Dave :)
anyone who thanks me personally, not via an automatic response, for purchasing their game is awesome by my books, makes you feel like your support is actually appreciated and not just more money for the pile.
long live Dave Gilbert!

Dave Gilbert is a great game maker because all of his games are unique (most of Yahtzee's games were all from the same series- all that I can recall except for Odysseus Kent ). Who else has made a game where you play as a Rabbi? Dave, you rock!

I'm far too poor (or perhaps lazy) to afford your games, Dave!

I'll have to stick with 'The Bestowers of Eternity.'  :'(

And Dave, you may want his power, but he wants your money.   ;D

MillsJROSS

I'd much rather give praise to Phil Reed, who needs to make more games.

Gilbert

Rather, give praise to whoever unknown entity who made teh Ace Quest.

AGA

I'm not an unknown entity :(

Andail

More importantly, Dave doesn't consider himself too good for this community.
Well, not enough to leave, at least.

Buckethead

All yahtzee's games should be converted into awsome movies! And then I mean really awsome, not like how Doom was made into a movie.
