I would like your help... I need to ask a few questions... I have a french exam on Thursday :)
Sorry, I have been an awfully demanding forum member for the past few days... ;)
Any native french speakers? :)
cunt is 'con' in french. Anything else you need?
Yes. If you don't have anything else to contribute, perhaps you could make yourself heard on another thread?

Well, it's this program that (to my knowledge) is unique to Canadian schools in which instead of taking just a French class, they force you to speak French in ALL your classes. It's fun times.
AGA went to a school like this, but with Welsh instead of French. Highly useful.
Here's some more interesting facts on swearing in french... tabarnak.

Too bad, the page doesn't seem to load up on my PC.
Anyways, swearing in french is quite amusing since it doesn't seem to be as bad as swearing in english.Ã, As you may our probably don't know,Ã, I am a french Canadian and I swear (in french) in public all the time, and no one seems to care!
:P Tabarnak is probably the worst of swear words, but it's more tolerated than sh*t.
Isn't "baiser" used for both kissing and screwing?
Which "French" are we talking here? French from France, Louisiana, or Quebec Canada?
I was referring to the Quebec variety, since I live in Montreal.
Amongst my friends, swearing in french isn't taken seriously because we're all english. Swearing in french is usually done as a joke.
I went to French immersion for two years and then had to switch to normal school becuase my grade 2 teacher insisted I was 'retarded'. I'm not sure what the term for retarded is in french, but, you know, it was OK to use that term then.
Then I worked in Ottawa for a while and had to answer the phones in french. Yes, retarded me answering french phonecalls. All I can say is, Zut alors! It was terrible! (you can't hear it, but I said terrible in the French way.) I'd probably be more hurt than help.
