Can anybody give me some legal advice?

Basically what the subject says.

I know that the best way, would be to seek out a layer and sort it out with him, but I thought that since it is the first move I'm making, I might handle it myself (!) since there is not soooo much at steak still...

Further more I will not have to pay anything for a little advice from anyone here.

Even further more I wil have the courage to 'break the balls' out of the one whoe repsonds here, while to a pro layer, I would only spend something like 10 minutes or so.

Nikolas, if this is what I think it is about, just threaten your wife with even more violence and you'll be ok, she'll never press charges. It's the greek way.

If you -really- need it, I have a friend who's well-versed in ways of the laws so I could always ask him about something, but I don't wanna bug him about it if it's something like, "I found $5 on the street and kept it, how long could they put me away for that if I get caught?"

I was hoping for some advice on contracts... I will have to sign a contract for my music sooner or later (I think sooner), so I would very much apreciate if someone who knows anything about law to take a look at it and tell me if I'm being fooled or not...

There is nothing yet to see, as I'm still discussing, but when the time comes, I need to know that I can e-mail someone and get a second opinion on the matter, without having to pay legal fees, or be afraid that my layer doesn't give a shit about me, since he's being paid...
