Imagine that there's a computer game. Quite arcade-ish and generic shooter really.
And yet, it has some levels that'll blow your mind.

Imagine there's a sequel to this game.
And in this sequel, you encounter a screen like this! (okay, maybe not so rage-modded)

Damn it! Superrealistic levels like AC-130 shooter level in first Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is exactly why I dished out â,¬49.
And now, the main campaign has none of those cool sequences original had AND for no reason whatsoever, this last cool thing, this last barricade before total suckage needs TWO players to even try. I know very clearly that I chose "SOLO PLAY" option from main menu of Special Forces campaign. SOLO.

ALSO, there's no way to start a server and hope anyone joins. You have to INVITE a FRIEND from steam friends list or something. It's a computer game, ffs. How did they even come to an idea that players actually have social life, let alone friends???

I've played Steam-supported games from the day Half-Life 2 was released, have plenty of them which I play online. Even had counter-strike disease! Over 5 years, number of friends in steam list is ZERO.

Q: Where do I acquire a friend?
A: Go outside

Q: But a friend who wants to play instead of being outside?
A: umm...

It's actually...somewhat hilarious that the SOLO campaign has even a single mission that REQUIRES anything more than one player. Even one-and-a-half is completely contradictory to the campaign mode itself. :D

Sorry I don't have any useful informations.

That's what Comicon is for. ;D You'll meet plenty of strange and interesting characters there, and many of them doesn't even afraid of anything!

I was playing that level today with my buddy. It's awesome watching my missile strikes up close and personal (on his half of the split screen) and from the sky. :)

What? That isn't helpful? Well, it is a very overrated game.

Oh and that Airport level  :-\

Also don't you just hate how disjointed the campaign is, awesome scripted sequences backed up by ugly filler video's. I want to play as ONE character, not the whole fucking UN.

It's fun calling it COD MOD 2, reminds me of fishing on the Dreamcast.

Still, AC-130 level was that made COD: MW so special for me.
It was just like random gunner-tv-operator video from liveleak.com, but INTERACTIVE.

Well, and if anything in MW1 was anti-war in some way, then that's probably this level. After seeing that, all hopes of "we'll go to partisan/forest/cellar/etc when war breaks out and survive" become zero. WWII was horrible, but it's nothing compared to thought of such steel beast floating in clouds and gunner counting my eyelashes with 130x zoom and guns big enough to level a tenement while it's pitch dark and I'm inside some building... it's quite remarkably shocking.

That's why I like such stuff too. And MW2 did not deliver!  :'( :'( :'(
