CD burning freeware

Can anyone recommend some good free CD/DVD burning software?

Sorry, I know this is all I ask these days. I can't help it - you guys are so GOOD at this.

I've been using CD Burner XP since my last reinstall of Windows. It's a very simple program compared to bloatware like Nero, but so far it has met my basic CD/DVD-burning needs.

I haven't burned anything in Windows for ages, but I've heard good things about InfraRecorder. Should be worth a try at least.

Thanks guys! I went with CD Burner XP, and I have burnt a CD so I'd call that a BIG FAT SUCCESS!

Excuseme guys, To not open another thread...

somebody knows a DVD burning software that runs in... how it tells in english... "Error mode of windows"? I need to make a backup of a whole of things and with the normal mode of windows is a lot of complicated...

I think Nero doesnt work in Safe Mode

Try the ones posted above, i go the complicated route via a Linux Live CD (which is how I do it)
