ohh oh such problems  ???

My firefox is sooóoo messed up. It switches image, changes links and leaves me pretty fustrated. It even switched an firefox image with a coloring ball entry, which I found rather amusing:

Alliance should Sui those bastards  :P

Another sort of benefit of this mess up is that firefox seem to have removed all those advertising stuff on free sites like Imageshack and Runescape.

But for the rest it's totally anoing  :-\

Does anyone have to smallest clue how to fix this?
It's rather funny but also very confusing.

PS: no IE for me , what so ever!!

What the hell??

I have firefox, and it disables adverts and such with a plug-in, so maybe you also somehow got some crazy plug-in that screws things up?

This is a wild guess, as I have never heard of your problem.

The Inquisitive Stranger

Actually, I HAVE worked on a couple of finished games. They just weren't made in AGS.

What about Opera?

Hmmm I dunno, I've never heared of that program. Maybe if Firefox in no way can be fixed I consider use an other web brower. It might become opera or something else. I'm not gonna change webbrowsers untill I'm sure firefox cant be fixed thought.

1. It's a very dumb one - but try to reinstall Firefox (i.e. uninstall it and install back again, probably newer version). It may fix something and you do not seem to have a great bunch of personal options.
2. Opera is nice, indeed, but one that I have have some weird problems with CSS. I dunno, whether it's fixed in an up-to-date version, though.

Reinstalling firefox is all I can suggest, I can't imagine what's wrong with it. I use Opera but switching browsers is a big step, probably easier to fix the one you're used to, unless it's IE.

As for Opera's CSS support... well, it's better than Firefox in some ways (and Firefox is better in some ways), and it renders Acid 2 correctly, unlike the other windows browsers. The newer versions are greatly better than older ones, in general. There are still quirks in all rendering engines, unfortunately.

I'm not sure, if this is Firefox's fault.
I once had a similar problem, when CD-icons were mixed-up.

Nostradamus

YOu mightr have installed some add-ons that clashed or something.
I suggest uninstalling then re-installing the latest firefox. And try the ENGLISH version. Localized versions (in general, not just firefox) seem to always be more buggy.

h00ray!! the cure is Ctrl+F5 !! victory!!  :D

Before reinstalling, try a clean new profile. Go to C:/Windows/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles and move away the folder in there, then start Firefox.

Using Maxthon I've never had any problems I almost daily see people complaining about with Firefox... And my computer's as clean of spyware and such as ever.

...and did you say 'Runescape'? You deserve to have problems! ¬¬
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

I played RS ages ago though the advertisements are gone now. And it's the first time firefox gives problems.
