Some of you may remember back in 2007 I went to Japan and stayed in Tokyo for 5 months.
Some of you might even remember my rather rubbish Blog.
Well, in 10 days time I'm going back to Japan on an exchange programme to study Japanese for a year. This time in Akita (in the North). And this time I intend to keep a less rubbish blog.
The address is the same and all the old posts are still there if anyone fancies reliving my first Japanese adventure. I've just given it a slight makeover using a snazzy template.

I hope some of you lovely people will find the time to check in every once in a while and see what I have to say.
Cheers guys.

Since I've started a whole new thread for this shameless advertisement, why not make the official topic 'Travel Blogs'.
Have you ever kept a travel blog? Are you following any travel blogs at the moment?
If so, link us up.
Cool! Have fun! I still think we need a mittens: Japan. I'd so go. I'd even host since I own a (rather large) house in Okinawa.
I kept a travel blog when I first went to Japan. It's kind of embarrassing to read now. I've got it archived at http://www.xiigames.com/archive/o2o Click "Shooting script" to get to the actual blog part.
Hey, best of luck, I hope you have a great time. I love anything to do with Japan and Japanese culture so will definitely be stopping by (rss feed *yoink*). Promise me lots of pictures and bizarre anecdotes;-)
Nice travel blog yourself Mr Twelve (hmm, I called you Mr Vince before and now they both sound weird..), I don't think i've seen that before but I do recall reading about your time in Japan somewhere with great interest.
Good stuff, both of you=)
EDIT: Oh and no travel blog from me i'm afraid, i've never been away long enough to keep one=(
Today's the day :-)
I've got about 4 hours to sleep then I'm nipping over to Japan for a year.
I'll still be around, loitering with no intent.
Wish me luck... I'm bound to forget something...
And if you haven't already, why not subscribe to my >>>BLOG<<< (http://stujapan.blogspot.com)
...ahem.
Peace out.
Safe journey and good luck out there!
