Tommorow I shall be setting off for Chicago for two weeks, It'll be my first time in America and I'm really looking forward to it. Here is my
TOTALLY AESOME AND AMAZING LIST OF THINGS TO DO WHILE IN AMERICA
1 Buy DVD's
2 Buy T-shirts
3 Eat a waffle with loasds of random garbage thrown on it...FOR BREAKFAST
4 Buy DVD's
5 Say 'Band-aid'
6 Convince people that I live in a mansion and wear a monocle
7 Buy DVD's
Yeah...um...
WHOO!
Is that it? :| I mean, you can totally do them in the UK
Make sure you put some chicken on them waffles
And anchovies. Americans love anchovy waffles.
Personally, I like creamed corn and tomato on my waffles.
Bt
Eggie... I hate to burst your bubble, but on DVDs, there's this thing called a Region. Every DVD has a different Region. DVDs from North America (Canada, US) are Region 1. They only play on Canadian, American, and Regionless DVD players. Unless you have a regionless DVD player, buying DVDs here would be pretty useless...
I have a regionless DVD player,
My bubble remains intact!
Chicago?
Don't forget to visit the United Center! 8)
If you happen to go there, tell the boys there's still people that trust on them and believe they can make an awesomw 2004-05 season ;)

I like Chicago.. it's pretty nice. It's also expensive food-wise, though! I went to McDonald's and the cheapest thing was $5.00. Well, the reason why I went to McDonald's is because everywhere else food costed at least $9.00...!
If you want to compare, where I live you can get stuff in McDonlad's for $3.00 and good food for $5.00.
Make sure to spend lots of time on Michigan Avenue.. That's a great place.. And it's where the NS-5's brutally attacked innocent rioters (note: I, Robot reference). Whee!
I've been to Chicago about 3 times my self, and a zillion times in the suburbs.. The city is GREAT! It's so fun, but yes.. VERY expensive. I wish I could go and meet you there eggie. Be sure to check out the Science and Industry Museum, and the Field Museum.. And the Navy Pier, and the Aquarium, and the Sears Tower.. And.. Umm... The lake, yes.. And there's this road (I forget the name now) that is all underground for a big part of it.. That's where all the bums are. Go make some friends there :).. And be careful of people selling stuff in the street, or asking for donations.. They'll most likely rip you off :)
Have fun, be safe.. And come drive to Iowa and visit me! whee! :-p
Eggie's comnig to America!?!?!? :o

(Heh, its supposed to look Teh Suxorz)
chicago is a hell of a town...I love it. The navy pier is waaay overrated, (and EVERYTHING is at least 5 bucks, even the goddamn swingset), so if you miss that place, its cool.
Solider field is pretty cool...one of the neatest american stadiums
no. I take that back. that would be wringly. check that out if you can.
the sears tower, sheds aquarium, and the other muesums next door are pretty sweet
one more thing. if you have extra $$$, try to catch Blue Man Group.
Whee! Thanks for all the advice/ waffle suggestions/ Silly photoshops, people. It's about two hours before we set off, it's going to be a loooong day.
