Hotspot, you did it in some web translator, right?
Knowing the inaccuracy of these things, I think it might be different.
Maybe Kinoko will know.
Awwwww Hotshot...

[Original Big5 text]
一生中發生的所有事都是有原因的。
凡事必有因。
[/Original Big5 Text]
The first line is more like, direct literal translation, while the second line is a much more commonly used line, which is basically the same thing, but less clumsy.
I'm surprised the commonly used phrase isn't 4 characters, since my lecturer mentions that preference EVERY SNGLE TIME we learn a new phrase.
Well it all depends, especially when it's an idiom it's usually 4 characters.
There's also a common 4 character phrase for it:

[Big5]
事出有因
[/Big5]
But since it's not a recognised idiom (I think) it doesn't really matter.
I can understand this easier than the other translations... is this an actual usable phrase or idiom?
Yes it's a commonly used phrase, but no I don't think this is considered an idiom.
Also no, please don't quote a complete post, especially one with images and was just the one before yours. :P
This is very helpfull thanks but I have also usd the translator and believed it to be inaacurate if i can have someone that has it as a first language ?
Is this more accurate the one gilbot gave?
According to his profile card (Gilbot is from Hong Kong), probably yes. ;)
I am a native Chinese speaker. :P

Ok so which one is the right one cause they all are different?
all chinese?
Yup, all are Chinese... personally I like Gilbot's translation the best... but maybe that's because it's the only one I understand. :P
Um, well, it's not like I'm fluent or anything. I can take a stab at it but I dunno, there's probably a better way of saying it.
"Everything happens in life for a reason"
My attempt: おこることにはすべて理由がある。
or maybe just: すべては理由がある
I'm asking some other people though, hang tight. My Japanese is still shit.
EDIT: Someone else suggested this:
何事にも理由がある
Can I ask why you want it in japanese or chinese? And why either one will do?
Just curious, is all.
Sounds like somebody wants a "Cool Tatooâ,,¢" ;)
Ok hanging on thanks lol as for japanese or chinese I like both styles and my friend too. So she wants to see which one is kewler looking and then do it.
Thanks kinoko as mentioned above I only see blocks :( when you guys type thats why the guys posted me some pics :) Thanks guys!
I really appreciate all your input thus far !
I'll tell you who won't think it'll look cool, the japanese/chinese reading folk! It will look boring to them. So I suggest she has it tattooed in english on her other arm and then she can show that off in Japan/China and they will think it looks cool!

Install some eastern font pack or something. You should find it on your Windows CD.
