Yes, it's been almost a year since I started bugging everyone on here about my movie... But now I can gladly say it's FINISHED. Finito! Done. Over and out. Get outta here!

Anyway, instead of re-typing it all here, I'll refer you to the half-arsed press release on Noise to Signal.

Check it out, folks. And thanks in advance if you decide to buy.

As a reminder, this is the joint work between me and Phil Reed, author and creator of the coveted and much-played Larry Vales series. This is not worth passing up!

Sounds great! When is that 'On The Lot' show, (or whatever it's called), going to be broadcast?
I'm composing the music for this game:

I think it premieres next week... But don't quote me on that.

“SOMOS LAS BOLAS WINS BEST LOW-BUDGET FILM”
Bettendorf Director Andrew Edmark Receives Top Marks In Student Films Across America

May 30th, 2007

DAVENPORT, Iowa â€" Student Films Across America (SFAA), a film festival created by and made for student filmmakers, recently announced the winners for this year's festival. Local filmmaker Andrew Edmark, age 19, has received the award for Best Low-Budget film and will be receiving a prize of $2,000 for his short film “Somos Las Bolas.”

SFAA is a new film festival that plans to travel the country in 60 days. They will kick off the tour with a preview show in their home town of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and they will then slowly make their way to the final show in Hollywood. Edmark's film was selected among over 600 films submitted from 44 states and 13 countries.

“Somos Las Bolas” was produced in June and July of 2006 with the help of Edmark's friends and other local talents, including Justin Anderson of Crazy Eyes Productions. Hammered with production setbacks and editing nightmares, Edmark fought through the film's numerous problems and was finally completed in February 2007. The film was shot entirely in Bettendorf, Iowa under the production name Snapshot Studios.

The film, an adaptation of a short story included in the book “God Ran Out of Faces” by Philip J. Reed, VSc., features an original score by local composer Scott Morschhauser who also composed the score for the Bluebox Limited film “The Bride Wore Blood” and collaborated on the soundtrack for the Max Alan Collins film “Eliot Ness: An Untouchable Life.”

The film is described as a story about a teenage boy who struggles to find himself when his friends must deal with an obsessed ping-pong player, showing just how far some will go to win, and how easy it is for others to lose it all.”

SFAA will be making its stop in Des Moines on Monday, June 11th, at the Fleur Cinema on 4545 Fleur Dr. The festival starts at 7PM and tickets are $10 a person.

Edmark is currently a sophomore at the University of Iowa. “Somos Las Bolas” is his first film as a director.

Andail

Wow, congratulations, Lil'.
Your hard work paid off, it seems. Whenever I get my hands on some cash, I'll see if I can get a copy shipped over here.

Nikolas

Congratulations mate! Well done!

I'm on my way to amazon right now! (is there an other way to buy it really? Could you save the % to amazon somehow? Maybe to us AGSers here?)

LGM

Sorry Nikolas, part of the companies deal to let me set up the title for free was to only be able to sell through Amazon.com. It's not bad. I assure you you're getting the best deal possible. I did drop the price a dollar in hopes to boost sales a bit.
