how do i comment on other peoples games? you know in the comment area. there is a whole bunch o' games i would like to comment on but how do post for THAT?

There should be a link next under the name and next to the game screenshot, that says, "More detail and user reviews", click on that, then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.
Simple as that.
it isn't, when i try that it says i have to be logged in to comment, even when i am.

If your IE privacy settings are quite high, it won't detect you logged in if you go from the main website.
