Couldn't find a topic on this subject on the forums yet....What I'm looking for is a set of brushes for photoshop that feel like real brushes...A brush that actualy looses it's paint (could go for the fade brush setting, but still it's different)...and kind of reacts to the paint allready present on the layer like real paint would do...I remember using this app. called Satori someting (think it was called film fx, though it had nothing to do with film ) a while ago which had great brush 'physics' simulation...It realy felt as if you were painting on a canvas with oil paint, but apart from the brushes it sucked...Maybe there's a way to archieve this in photoshop aswell by tweaking your brushes...I spend quite some time on this but no way I could get close to the desired result...Though getting a waterpaint look is no problem....
I hope it's kinda clear what i'm aiming at...maybe people could post some cool brush settings they use alot and have that feel to em that I was trying to describe...

Cheers!

Pessi has some, I used to have them. I dont think he hosts them anymore, but I'm sure he would send them to you if you asked.

hmm most of those brushes rather seem like textures than brushes to me ;) they're not what I'm looking for...
thanx anyway minimi...
It'd be probably a plugin instead of a brushset what i'm looking for since all those ps brushes seem to have the same 'phsysics'...

In the Gimp you change the mode to something like "add" or "mix" to get that effect.. I don't think there's a need for a plugin.

EDIT:
You can also tweak the opacity and pressure which is like adding water or using more paint.
Once I killed a man. His name was Mario, I think. His brother Luigi was upset at first, but adamant to continue on the adventure that they started together.
