Hi everyone. I've been doing some searching online, and I can't seem to find a decent and cheap capture card for my laptop. So far I've found this USB one and this other one for cheaper.

I don't know much about these things, so would I be able to capture video on my laptop with this? Or can I capture both my laptop and, say, my Xbox360? Also, would these be good choices of cards to choose? I'm asking because I've been using Fraps and Camstudio to capture games on my laptop, but I'm getting lag spikes.

Are you sure card would work better than camtasia? Especially, USB one? I've never seen any lag with it.

It's not that Camtasia lags, but it doesn't capture at an FPS I want, and I've tried tinkering with it and it's been a long, frustrating process. Also, it doesn't detect my sound at all. Only out of my built in microphone on the laptop screen.

EDIT: Nevermind. I was able to use my audio mixer to have some workaround to get audio while maintaining a good framerate. :)
