Yeah, me too. When is AGS going to sponsor us AGSers, huh? I mean, has AGS ever done anything for us?! It's time to give back, CJ!

So are you DJing then, Mods? How fancy do you want to get with crossfading and matching beats and remixing and mashups and such?

Anyway, you've got to have some Bowie in there. I like The Jean Genie and Diamond Dogs. Or Rebel Rebel.

They're a few years old, so might be deeply unfashionable right now, but there are some great tracks off TV on the Radio's Dear Science, like Halfway Home and Golden Age, as well as M.I.A.'s Arular; the whole album is pretty catchy, 10 Dollar might be a good choice.

You can't go wrong with the B-52s' Rock Lobster. Maybe some Ladytron (e.g. Destroy Everything You Touch)? And unless you're sick of it, you could pick something off Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, or one of Phoenix's earlier albums.

Other than that, I can just suggest some of the eighties classics, like Blondie and Eurythmics, and nineties britpop like Pulp, Republica or Elastica. And finally, the other week I was playing Beatles Rock Band (so much fun!), and the fab four definitely had a bunch of songs that still deserve some play. Come Together might be a good downtempo pick, possibly, or I Saw Her Standing There or Twist and Shout for something more energetic.

I'm also of the disposition that I assumed this meant THE Disco not a discotheque. It should be changed. :P

And I don't mean the title..I mean reality. :=

I don't know.  But he should be completely removed from the AGS forums!  ::)

Apparently Mark does you and is looking for music suggestions to do you to. I figured you'd be the first to know!

Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face

...

Evile - Thrasher

haha, two awesome songs. But if I went into a disco and they were playing this I would laugh my ass off ;D

The best song for a disco I could think of (that I actually like :p) is Gorillaz - feel good inc. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH1UmMu3R7o)

even though I listen to almost exclusively metal, The album "Demon Days" by Gorillaz is one of my favorite albums. Pure genious.

In the context of disco, I'm guessing he's the fourth Beegee?

My suggestion would be Ghost Town by The Specials, because it's hilarious if you're a fan of Father Ted.

Snarky said David Bowie, so if you go with Dave, go with "Fame".

Thanks, I'll start some downloads through the week! It usually ends up being club & chart music but I like to do an hour of rock, chill out and stuff, so definitely some Bowie! But perhaps not Cannibal Corpse ;) Cheers again!

Pure Sugar - Delicious (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rOe6Cttji0)

And anything Stars on 45 has recorded... Beatles medley (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-swXTn3TDgs) for example...

I think, that if you want the people there to dance, one of the best bands would be Jamiroquai. Try this one for instance as a slow song at the end of the night :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3EsPTX0wuQ

people might even recognise some of the songs :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ojs5R3enDjc&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rND8EqzxcA4&feature=related

The best album would be Dynamite, obviously.

You only really need one pop song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNzrwh2Z2hQ
