Title: Do you have Kazaa and a fast connection?
Post by: on Thu 11/03/2004 13:17:53
Then I need you! I'll do anything and be forever in debted to you. I'm trying to get hold of the Predator soundtrack by Alan Silvestri.

I've seen someone on Kazaa has it but I can't download it due to my CRAP connection  >:(

You can't buy the soundtrack any more and even second hand shops don't sell it anymore (I have a good source for all soundtracks, but they've sold out of it! GAH!).

I am DESPERATE for this soundtrack. If anyone can search it and download it I'd be MORE than greatful.

You should just be able to do a search for Alan Silvestri (artist) and providing that user is online you should see tracks like, "Predator Iminent" and "Billy".

If you could download them and then let me know, we'll negotiate sending them over to me or something.

Honestly, this is probably the single-most biggest favour I need this year. I'll have your babies :)

I tried dc++. Are you looking for ALL his songs or just those two?

It's ironic, cause just yesterday I was trying to remember which movie had the line "This stuff will turn you into a goddamn sexual tyranosaurus" and this thread reminded me.

The theme is easy to find. I'm looking for the "original" theme (not the Predator II theme) but more importantly all the other songs from the ORIGINAL Predator score.

I believe there's about 12 or 13 of them.

edit - DGM, heh. Yep. I don't got time to bleed.

Well, there is some kind of problem with Kazaa here where I live... With a 56k, you get a very fast speed in Kazaa (which can even reach 6KB per second sometimes), but if you have ADSL (like me) you can only get something like 0.4... If you are lucky you'll get 1 KB :P

6KB is fast? No wonder the RIAA and MPAA are worried.

for a 56K dial-up modem (especially when you have CYTA for an ISP), yeah

MODs

I got the soundtrack off alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.soundtracks a while back.

How should I get it to you?

Are there any others you need?

Matt

Ooooh, sweet Matt! Well, I think the best/easiest way would be to upload it somewhere and then PM me the location of the files :)

Mods,

I've just noticed track 18 is missing  :o

I'll still upload them somewhere and go looking for "Wounded Predator", unless anyone has this one track!

Thanks Matt :) You're the hero that comes out of nowhere ;) (And by nowhere I don't mean Staines).

Oh, and are you coming to Mittens 04, seen as you missed 03?  ::)

Anyhoo, thanks again - this is greatly appreciated.
