Seriously?!  SERIOUSLY?!?!

Another terror attack?!

There was an explosion in Boston, MA, USA today (4/15/2013), just near the end of the Boston Marathon.  2 Confirmed Dead, Dozens Injured.

I swear... WHAT IS AMERICA COMING TO?!?!?!?!?!

My heart goes out to the people of Boston, MA right now.

Jaffles

I know a guy who ran in the marathon today. Hope he's alright...

The worst part of it is, it was the families and cheering crowd that seemed to have gotten the most hurt. :(

Its just horrible that the best way people think they can prove a point is by going and hurting innocent people. "Yeah Boston Marathon Terrorists(And really any violent group/terror cells, etc...), you totally made everything much better now that people have died and many have become maimed. Point proven, whatever it was supposed to be!" Idiots.

just to put this into relation, in the war in iraq around 730 civilian people died in 2013 alone up to the beginning of march. (other sources speak of 600 civilian victims a day in the iraq war but I doubt that).

It's not making headlines just because of the number of casualties, rather it's the significance of the event. A bomb attack on the US mainland will always be big news.

A tragedy is always a tragedy, no matter where it is. If only other tragedies could be treated with equal significance.

Regardless, my best thoughts and wishes go out to everyone affected by this

Very sad. I was glued to the TV and upset when they announced a kid had died. Horrible crime. I needed to vent some creativity and have had an idea in mind for sometime before this, but after this happened - it took the brunt of my desire to do some editing and became this, 'Seconds From An Answer', a light hearted tribute. Thought I'd share, I know most here are open minded enough for it :)
