S.C.S. Phoneix gets a distress call from a nearby planet, Draconis Prime. Once there, the Phoneix crew discover that it was a trap.

well, apart from it not being entirely original, we need to know a lot more. Like is the story almost completly finished and fleshed out? Are the puzzles finished? You don't want to have a scripter scripting and then you come and say:

Well, actually, we dont need it to do that anymore. But if you can retool it since we didn't plan ahead enough...

Thats not a good way to treat programmers, or artists, or any member of a team. Plus you don't want to drag along a willing helper while you aren't even finished thinking out your design.

Usually we make a game first, so that people know we're being serious.
