Does anyone here remember 'The Detective Game' on the C64, i'm building a website dedicated to it and was wondering how many fans I could find??? ;D

Hmm, I'm not sure if this is it or not... I have this great memory (a memory of good things, not a complete memory ^_-) of this fantastic game I had on my old old C64. It was played with the tape deck, and featured a guy who was basically just a shadow, running in and out of people's houses (brightly coloured, from memory).

Is this it? Because if it is, I LOVE you. I've always wanted to know what that game was, and I've never had enough info about it to look it up.

If that's not it... then no, sorry :) Good luck with the webpage, though!

Barbarian

Is this it?

I had a C64 for years, but I don't recall playing this one. Looks kool though.
Conan: "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!"
Mongol General: "That is good."

Hmm, that's not what I was thinking of, then. Looks cool though. Plus, that description mentioned one of my all-time favourite old games ever - International Karate!!! ^_^

EDIT: Found it! It was "Frankie Goes to Hollywood"... man. I hope that game's really as good as I remember.

Ã,  Ã, Hey, Frankie Goes to Hollywood! I liked it :) It was a great game. I was playing it when I was 6-7. I didn't know English in that times, so I couldn't understand the texts. I guess there was a murderer in that house.
Ã,  Ã, I've found an emulation of that game, but it doesn't run. Damn... :(
Games are art!

Hey, I remember that game! I played it for a pretty long time, but never managed to finish it. It's probably one of the better adventure games, even counting the PC ones. I remember great music. When you're done with your site, be sure to send me a link.
None shall pass!
