Title: Drummer's click here :)
Post by: xenogia on Wed 21/12/2005 23:47:23
I was cleaning out my hard drive the other day when I discovered these, some pics for drummer buffs who like to pick out drum gear.  The pics are of my kit and I at a nightclub gig several months ago.

I know this isn't very adventure game like and i also do apologise for the quality of the images.

I'm no drummer, but looks like a sweet rig you've got there. I always wished i would have learned to play an instrument when i was younger. I'd still love to learn to play the electric keyboard someday. I have had a few in recent years, but never took the time to actually learn to play them. I would mess around with the features, but then realized that what was coming from the keyboard wasn't pleasant on the ears. I had a nice Yamaha keyboard that i paid over 200 dollars for, and sold it for 50 bucks. I still can't believe i did that.  :(

I went through phases where I would play drums non-stop or then go back to computers, these days its half - half, music is my main occupation and the computers are an obsessive hobby .. lol

It's a nice finish on the shells but don't you find the tom's a little small? What style do you play? I always find the kits with the smaller rack toms (gretsch for example) harder to roll on.

I've recently got myself a brand new Mapex which should arrive saturday.

From looking at his t-shirt my guess would be that they play metal...

Oh and your drums are nice...

I play Trash with prog elements, the small drums don't bother me whatsoever.  I prefer them, I play traditional grip so I prefer the drums lower and flat and I have been playing since I was 8 years old and I am now 25.

Indeed - It's a woman, but it's a man writing! This creeps me out.

(Although you probably meant for other reasons?)
