Above is the link for the game.
The sub-title is "For the Greater Good".
If the subtitle is "For the Greater Good", does that mean that this game is a Hot Fuzz parody? "Dumbledore and Grendelwald" is a strange name for a Hot Fuzz game, but I love those guys! Do you get to play as Danny, the police chief's son? I really hope you do. And then you can always be quoting Bad Boys II at people. YEAH!
Man, I'm sure glad you told me what the subtitle of this game is so I know exactly what it's about including the full storyline and everything which I'm sure is based entirely off the movie Hot Fuzz!
HOT FUZZ FOREVER! 8)

Ah, you don't really need the subtitle, just look at one of the many screenshots and you'll know what this totally-in-the-correct-forum-posted thread is all about! :=
I think it should have been called "Dumbeldore and Grindelwald Are Dead".
Is it an adventure game? Is it made with AGS? Why isn't in the CGA thread with all the other games?
It seems as though you couldn't be bothered to make a real thread, with screenshots, so you just dumped a link to the game in the first forum you came to. Such unsportsmanlike behavior makes me question whether downloading your game would prove a worthwhile use of my time. :-\
There isn't even a "this file was deleted" message; is the link broken?
Or is dbuske "taking action"?
THIS GAME IS FUCKING SPECTACULAR
it has changed the way I look at life and parrots, and human-parrot intercourse and by intercourse I mean parrot sex
It is literally the only game of its kind. Five out of five stars. Bravo.
Btw, who's Grendelwald? The name sounds vaguely familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it. ;)

Maybe you tried to download the file before it was uploaded again.
Try again
o_o
When I try to download it I get this warning:
"This file has been removed because it was violating our rules. No parrot sex allowed. This file has been downloaded 0 times"
::)
That's strange. MY parrot was able to download it, and told me it was teh awesmoe.

A minor character in the Harry Potter books. But dbsuke dude, you got the name wrong. It's actually Grindelwald.
Wiki:
Gellert Grindelwald is a Dark wizard who, in a list of "Most Dangerous Dark Wizards of All Time", would be second only to Voldemort, according to Rita Skeeter's book The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore. His name is first mentioned on Dumbledore's Chocolate Frog card, which notes that Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald in 1945.
According to J.K. Rowling (and I do not have any source references other than word-of-mouth), Grindelwald is apparently also Dumbledore's childhood gay lover. Presumably this can only mean that Harry was Dumbledore's late-life gay lover.
If this game is about Dumbledore and Grindelwald and does not emphasize the homosexuality the two shared, then it cannot be considered canonically accurate. However, the parrot sex does sound right.
This is quite honestly the best game I've played since "Harry, Ron and their Stiff Wands".
I only watched the last movie and that with a friend at a cinema, but generally I feel that the whole Harry Potter universe is a tad uninspired and uninspiring.
Also who in the name of god, is Grindewald?
The name is right in the game. I just typed it wrong in the post.
I avoided the gay aspect of the story.
Did anyone actually play it, or or you just having fun making things up?

Are you able to download your game with the link in the first post? Because I'm not.
Also, you might want to address at least LimpingFish's questions/concerns here:

I love that there's a new episode in this ongoing circus every time I visit the forums.
But on a more related note, your download link just sends me to my Mediafire dashboard instead of your game, so no, didn't play it. And if you made a typo in the thread title, why don't you just correct it?

Dumbledore and Grindelwald as a badass magical police duo, now THAT'S a game I would love to play!

I'd say we were as interested in hearing about your games as the UDK forums were...
dbuske:
You quoted my post so I assume you also read it, but you didn't take 2 seconds out of your busy schedule to check the link yourself?
Oh my.
The link still does not work.
I'm stuck in the trophy room. What do I have to do?
I tried using my wand with the gargoyle statue and Dumbledore says "I should ask Grindelwald first." Ask him what? Whenever I speak with him there's not a new option or anything...

THIS LINK (http://www.mediafire.com/?5unnun8subwhh2oe), which
you provided,

Do you know "hoe" to use the Internet?
By the way, we don't have access to your computer directories.
P.S. If you think that we're all just lying to you about the link not working, why don't you try logging out of your Mediafire account before you click on the link and then see if it still works for you. Or don't you know "hoe" to use "logout"?

Fixed.
No dbuske, the link does not work. My guess is that it shows the content only to those who are logged on to a mediafire account (most people dont have an account), or, and this is the silliest case, only your account.
Log out of your mediafire account and click the link to see what we mean, and stop being so grumpy.

I like the music, but I can't figure out how to get past the demon chicken. Also, I find that the reference to tapestries is totally uncalled for.

YUO STOLE MA GMAE!
It's using all the graphics from my game, the same story, dialogs, everything!
I never published that game, it was always only on my harddrive, how did you get it from there? I don't know much about hoe to use a computer, but I know one thing for sure: You must be a hacker, I hope you get banned!!! >:( >:( >:(

Tip: Talk to Dr Fichstvelswagen for a hint! However, you have to get him to talk to you first ;) Focus on finding his missing marble statue. I think the game is programmed so you can't defeat the chicken unless the good Dr tells you hoe to.

Imagine we could use such extreme combinations of arrogance and ignorance as power source, we wouldn't need any oil ever again.
This thread is exactly the type of thing that would make Dualnames cry.
But seriously, dbuske, as much as people might have been jerks to you, you're developing a pretty horrid attitude toward us as well. People have been telling you in all seriousness that your links don't work. They've asked you to fix them. They started out rather polite and your way of dealing with it was to insult them and accuse them of not knowing how to use a computer.
I got where you were coming from before (to an extent). But this, I don't get in the least. If you want people to show you respect, you can't go around acting like this. People will joke and laugh if you make a mistake, but if you adopt the same attitude toward people who are legitimately trying to help you, you're not going to get very far.
Those who have poked fun at you, I can't speak for, other than myself. The times at which I have, I generally have made a real attempt to help you first.
In short, your link doesn't work as it stands right now, so if you would like for us to be able to actually try your game and would like people to stop making jokes about your non-working link, you should consider posting something that would actually allow us to download your game..and stop insulting us for your mistake.
This is the kind of thread that I'm not sure whether I'm trolling or I'm being out-trolled.

The link that will work till Media fire screws it up again.
Updated version. removed some minor bugs.
The download link does work now.
However, the game is severely broken right from the beginning. The main character's speech view is his normal view, making him walk on the spot whenever he says something.
Also it's quite funny that you didn't want to include the "gay aspect" but the game is riddled with homo-erotic imagery right from the start.
I got to the screen after the (completely unrelated) video; the background is a cartoony drawing of what's supposed to be the two main characters (with Dumbledore looking really, really female) and a few objects are just sitting there. I couldn't interact with anything.
Debug mode is still turned on so one can look at the other rooms, but I gave up on it fairly quickly.
Nothing makes sense, there aren't any discernible exits and interacting hardly has any effect at all.
Good luck "playing" this.
Four months to fix a link? There are peeps who make a game in that time. Or even ten.
FIGHTS!
