Title: Eternal Dreams - mobile game
Post by: Buckethead on Tue 22/04/2014 08:48:43
Hello,

It has been a while since I was last on these forums. But I have just released my first game for Android and I'm trying hard to get it out there. If this is not ok to post here, please let me know.

Check it out on the Playstore:

Shop where you can buy visuals, powerups and bonuses:

Inventory where you can activate all the stuff you've bought/won:

An iOS version should be out later this year.

It's pretty good! It has a Jetpack Joyride/Flappy Bird kind of feel to it. I like the use of power ups.

The little advert is not too obtrusive; I'm not sure what to think of the in-app purchases, I'm not a fan of them myself. But it's free, and will more than likely appeal to those casual gamer type peoples.

I'm hoping to get an Android app out there myself within the next one or two years, I do read a lot about the scene; I think the main problem with the app market is that it's too saturated.

Good luck.

Thanks for giving it a try. I'm glad you like it. I'm not too fond of inapp purchases either. But I did a lot of research and this freenium model seems the best option.

Cool, I hope you can get something out there. Android and Google make this pretty doable. But yeah, that's probably the reason everyone is doing it. Maybe some classic  style adventure games would be cool. There don't seem to be that many of those around yet on Android.
