You French did not deserve that win and I hope for Frances sake that the French coach knows that.
England played the best. It was all divine intervention to France.

The most shocking defeat I've ever had the misfortune to witness. But this is the sort of shite that fell on England 4 years ago only much worse. Okay fine, Kevin Keegan was a crap coach back then so we never stood a chance but 4 years on and I've seen little evidence of change as the same seems to have happened.
Now I can't imagine the best team on the planet winning against Switzerland (even though we willÃ,  ;) )

Are you trying to suggest that England go back on an incredibly long and proud tradition of noble loss?
I know there are shocking breaks of protocol, for example that medal in Curling at the winter games, but really, what's English in winning.

You may as well sodomise St George's corpse for all the pride in that.

For me it was the SECOND most shocking, right after Yugoslavia was robbed against Spain four years ago.
Anyway, this day sucked. England lost, Croatia didn't, my money's gone... I hope tomorrow will be better. Denmark has to beat those damn Italians and even though I like Sweden very much, I hope Bulgaria will beat them. It's gonna be a great game, anyway. Some of the best European strikers play for Sweden. On the other hand, I've seen only one game Bulgaria played recently, and it was that crappy defeat by Croatia, so I don't know much about their strength.
And Beckham SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn, I'm pissed off! He sucks as a midfielder, he sucks as a scorer, but have you noticed that he was very good as a full back today? Weird. They should have kicked Neville out and let Beckham play the right defender  :)
Anyway, I'm off to watch Detroit...
None shall pass!

Paranoid Factor

delta

rooney shouldve taken that penalty.

Barcik

You mean that little bulldozer who does nothing except run around the pitch and fight with every player of the opposition?

Scared the french and got England a penalty, people forget he's only 18..

Also the english game is a lot more physical, that is why often it takes foreigners to adjust to it while making them selves look silly arguing every little challenge

You know, he was the first time I saw a proffessional footballer younger than myself. It could have been like "Oh no, 17 and already I can see younger and more successful people" but it wasn't like that at all.
Thanks in no small part to the fact that I'm considerably more attractive.

No they didn't. Italy won.

* Vel is all excited about Bulgaria's match

And don't tell me that we don't stand a chance, just look at what Greece, for example, already did.

j/k Of course Italy won.

And about Mornar, well thats like a sotry for itself. You colud see that every dribble he made ended up with him on all his four (meaning he fell).

And you should have seen the news now.
There was a press conference, and our old ?representation coach? was getting all arogant and stuff.
I wish you all could speak croatian so you could have heard that.

QuoteOne of the many surprises.
The next one will be on monday 20-45 CET.

Indeed!Ã,  :)

Andail

Hehe, Vel, wanna comment on this one?

Sure, Bulgaria played better than I expected, and Petrov was really hot in the beginning.
But 5-0...well, what can you say.

Also Henrik Larsson's flying head was the most beautiful goal I've seen in f*cking years!!!

Anyone who didn't see this; try to come over a re-run of the match and behold the beauty.

Vel

5-0
You guys played better, that's for sure. But the refferee gave you a hand while it was wtill close. And if there was a penalty I am Mike Riley(may his soul burn in hell eternally)

Andail

I agree, the penalty kick wasn't justified.

But golly, some of our goals sure where esthatically perfect, undisputably

Barcik@Sister's

I really do feel bad for Bulgaria. They played a very good much, and surprised me pleasently. But, their squad is inexperienced, and they broke down after Henrik Larsson's goal. Still, they have potential. I like the way they moved the ball, weren't afraid to take risks and how passionetly they played. But, clearly, this version of the Bulgarian national team lacks a Stoichkov - a player who will transform it from a sympathetic underdog into a menacing rival.

Sweden played a good match as well. They knew how to take advantage of the mistakes in the Bulgarian midfield, and their kill instinct was working on 100% today. Sure, they got some help from the ref (Linderoth just had to receive a second yellow card. However, a penalty there was), but they would have probably won even without it. Ibrahimovic was the man of the match. He was involved in every important attack, and constantly won in one-on-ones with the defenders. His backheel pass to Ljunberg was totally awesome! Ljunberg himself showed us his classy off-the-ball movement he learned in Arsenal, but surprsingly he disappeared just when the opposition did the same. Larsson? His typical quality finishing. He isn't great, but he is sure a hell lot better than the Swedish version of Emile Heskey, Marcus Allback.

Nacho

I haven't seen it, sad, because Larsson sounds as futurible for FC Barcelona. I won't  do firewood of the fallen tree, still six points in game, good luck Vel.
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!
