Ever read a book with an illustration of two moons kissing...?

My friend wants me to draw her a tattoo. She says she wants two moons kissing, that she remembers it from a childrens book illustration from when she was a child but doesn't know what the book was called.

Hmm...

Does anybody know what book she might be talking about? All she remembers is that she loved it as a child (about 20 years ago). She's from the South of Italy, so it could be an italian childrens book. And all I know is that there's a picture of two half-moons kissing in it... and she really wants it...
