Good day fellow creators
Just stopped by to drop off this juicy little nugget. I stumbled upon this wonderfully gifted and talented artist over at MovieStorm by the name of Run415, who has a site full of terrific music that can be used in games, movies or even if you just want something to relax to.
There is a wide assortment of different atmospheres from Piano music, to Rock to Sc-Fi to Calm. I don't about everyone here but I can always use some calm.
Like I said the music is free but if you use the music in games or movies he would like a credit and link to his site, which is only fair. I spent the day at his site one day listening to music and almost fell asleep.
So if you are up for some relax time check out the site below

Take care and good listening

Great stuff! I'll add the link to my own site. :)
This should be a thread for ALL free music we find.
I'll add a link:

I'm using his "Tears, Tears" song for the ending credits of BTS (and maybe even all 3 BTS games). He releases his work under the Creative Commons license, and it's all royalty free.

I can't explain it. Take a look for youself.
I've used Incompetech (http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/) before, there's some great pieces on there.
It's licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0, which basically means you use it how you like as long as you credit the author.

Can I use this music in a Student Film? Commercial Film? Stage Production? Flash Animation? Instructional DVD? Relaxation CD? Slideshow?
Yes. Anything and everything - as long as I get a credit. The only thing you cannot do is sublicense or relicense. (That means you cannot sell or redistribute these as a royalty-free collection.)

How do I place a credit for this music in my project?
If your project has only one piece in it; you can credit it as "Music: Kevin MacLeod".
If your project has many pieces from different people, you can credit me as "(name of the pieces of music you are using) Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)".
If you'd like to include the full license for legal reasons, you can do the following: "Title Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons "Attribution 3.0" http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/"
It is important that you replace the word Title with the Actual Title of the piece that you are using!

It's an excellent site for music. Some of it's free for download, and you can always ask the artist himself for permission if you want to use it for something
http://artistserver.com/ (http://artistserver.com/) - Many different genres, lots of songs with Creative Commons licences.
http://www.opsound.org/index.php (http://www.opsound.org/index.php) - Again with Creative Commons, browsing is a bit confusing though.
Open music search (http://www.google.com/coop/cse?cx=002157614283018392829%3Aktlp_kp7blc) - Here you might find some free music, I haven't had too much luck with this.

Well I guess I should blowmy own trumpet here and link Here (http://mattjbarker.yolasite.com/music.php)to my music! I prefer to be asked and credited if anyone wants to use a song for anything. Ive already had a fellow AGSer use one in his German audio drama, yesh!!
