So, the official "Family Guy" videogame launches in the US in not too long, and I myself recently pre-ordered it. I've been checking out the official site (http://www.2kgames.com/familyguy/familyguy.html) and from the screenies, it looks pretty awesome.
Some FMV's have also been posted on Youtube, just search "Family Guy Videogame".
I for one think that a family guy game is well overdue, and am excited to see that from the videos i have seen of it, the humor of the TV show is maintained in the game.
What are your thoughts about this game??
Cheers,
Flukezy.
Never even knew this game existed. But from looking at the their web site the game looks pretty good. I love Family Guy, but hope that this game doesn't suffer the same fate as the Futurama game and most Simpsons games that have been released.
I'll have to look into this one when it gets released.
Looks like every other TV franchise-derivative game out there. Utter shit.
Reminds me of the Rugrats game. Not too appealing, but I bet it sells well.

How dare you!? Name a single licensed game that was bad!
The rugrats game! On the ps1! That was brilliant!
Ohh the memories come flooding back, cheers Evil.
They are doing a family guy game now? man I hope they don't screw it up.
I quite enjoyed the Futurama game. The writing helped a lot but as a straight action-platformer thing it wasn't too bad.
Well, i got the game today, and from the time i've spent playing it so far, i'm pretty impressed! Unlike the sour taste left in my mouth by most TV-Show-To-Games that i play, i really enjoyed the off-the-wall humor in it. Speaking of which, the humor kicks ass! It is quite possibly the funniest games i have ever played, especially the pop-culture references and satire! I really enjoyed it, and i recommend it to any fans of FG or just anyone looking for a pretty decent platformer/adventure game.
Cheers,
Fluke.
I love the graphical style, they really nailed the look of the cartoon even though it's 3D. Sometimes you can hardly tell the difference. The cutscenes are a treat, it's just like watching an episode. Ingame it's a little more obvious, mostly due to the lack of antialiasing.
The gameplay is fun, but kinda get's old after a while. As Stewie, it's platform action with some shooting elements, Brian sneaks around everywhere and Peter bashes everyone's brains in in true Final Fight style. They really captured the feel of the show and threw in a few classic quotes here and there. If you're a fan, you're gonna love this.

Ooh, I used to fantasize about that game. But I never got it since I couldn't find a download of it. I probably would've found it in any of the shops :D.
