Title: Fanventures is open to the public!
Post by: Broomie on Mon 11/04/2005 01:52:49
Sorry if I'm not aloud to do this here.

After a 2 years, Door of Destiny is finally open! Yes I've been lazy. Yet it isn't Door of Destiny no more, that ship has long sailed. Instead of tarnishing my love of AGDI, I'll love every fangroup. Presenting, Fanventures!

http://www.fanventures.com/

This is one of a kind, Fanventures is a community based purely on fangames based on Sierra's products. There's numerous content such as interviews, reviews and previews, even you can submit your own! Stick by our forums and make this community huge!

Peace! I'm out!

so you're telling us that all adventure game studio games are purely based on sierra games? sorry I think you missed the point of the site. they only have sierra fan games, such as kq 1 and 2 remakes by agdi, and some of the agi ones.

It's a great idea, Broomie. Not a fan of the layout- it just seems really generic to me- but I like the idea of having one place for all the Sierra fan-games. Because frankly, there's a LOT of them.

That is the AGS homepage site (yay I'm clever) so yes it does have a database full of games. But this is purely concentrating on the fangames based on Sierra. Not every fangame, just Sierra fangames.

Quoteso you're telling us that all adventure game studio games are purely based on sierra games? sorry I think you missed the point of the site. they only have sierra fan games, such as kq 1 and 2 remakes by agdi, and some of the agi ones.

Thank you Cosmicr. :)

Well, while we're mentioning games you've missed, what about Project Katrina?

Not sure if I'm allowed to do this, but I'll pimp a similiar site.

http://www.fangames.co.uk/v6

This site has every type of fangame, from Lucasarts to Sierra to arcade.
Also it has some of the better original games. And a lot of the worse ones.

Fanventures and Fangames.co.uk happen to be affiliated with each other. :p

(Last time I checked with ED anyway)

I've also added more games to the database as per requested, including LSL2, Project Katrina and SQ: Vohaul Strikes Back.
