Heh, made you look. Seriously though, for about 30-odd years (since the first Star Trek movie) Trek fans have wondered what the "official" explanation was for why Klingons from the original series had smooth foreheads while Klingons after AND before (Star Trek: Enterprise) had the more familiar bumpy cranial ridges. I mean, it had always been a glaring continuity error...one that should've been hard to ignore and pretend it didn't exist. Now, the Star Trek creators are finally going to show us the official explanation, on two episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise, in the perfect time frame to show it.
Now I know not too many people here are Trek fans, but I just thought I'd share this tidbit of information with you all. It's a big thing in the Trek universe (bigger than finally showing the inventor of the transporter on tonight's episode).

Don't pretend you don't care. :P (Or pretend you do.) ;)
Wasn't there a DS9 episode where they went back in time and kind of explained it? Or at least made a joke out of it?
I find it funny that Seth Macfarlane, creator of Family Guy, is going to play a Klingon...
Man, he must really love the show, because there's so many trek references in family guy...
Also, I'm wearing a FG t-shirt as I type this.
Family Guy.
Anarcho: They did indeed! Sisko, Dax, O'Brien and Worf went back to the time of the original series (specifically the "Trouble with Tribbles" episode), which involved Klingons without the forehead ridges. I think O'Brien says "Those are Klingons?" to which Worf replies "We do not talk about it with outsiders" or something like that.
I don't even particularly like Enterprise (Archer and the head engineer whose name I can't remember really annoyed me) but I HAVE to see these episodes. Thanks for posting about them, Terran!
I'm WATCHING Family Guy as i type!
we're NERDS.
I don't like Enterprise either, but I wouldn't find finding out their made-up explanation for the Klingon thing.
Wearing dorky t-shirts is cool, mmkay?
mmkay.
Kirk beats Picard hands down!
Captain Janeway is the best captain. I used to like Captain Picard until STV came around
This is the best crew also..

I stand by my Star Trek Voyager.
Bah, Janeway moralized over all the alien women. Kirk just slept with them.
Picard is obviously the superior officer. >:(
Sisko rules them all!!
As a seasoned Star Trek follower i'd have to say Han Solo is my favourite
Picard is best. Sure, he didn't screw people all day like Kirk, but you just know all he had to do was say the word and he could've had anyone on the crew. Even Data.
I wish they'd let Star Trek take a rest for a while, though, instead of dragging it out and turning it into a miserable joke. I mean, what the hell were they thinking with those last two movies?
But as far as i'm concerned, the original series, Next Generation and DS9 will always be some of the best TV shows ever.
Voyager = meh. Enterprise = pfft.
You're all nerds!
Well I don't know about anyone else, but I was definitely joking.
I'm afraid I'll have to go with haddas on this one, tho the next best one is Cpt. Jane Anyway. Ooh, what a hottie!
C.
Man, I knew this would turn into a who's-your-favorite-captain/Trek-show argument. It always does. I nearly forgot about this thread.
PICARD!!!!!!!1111111three
Id have to say my faveorite chars are Q and Riker
I totally think the best Riker moment was on "Futurerama" where Fry steals Leonerd Nemoy's head... and Jonathan Frake's head slides up to the front and says "YES! Front row!" - Frakes really did the voice!
