I'd just like to celebrate Vegetable Patch Extreem Turbo 2 being downloaded 100 times!

I know it's sad of me to keep tabs on the stats, but I had a private wah-hoo when VPET 1 reached a century the other week, and I couldn't contain my joy over the sequel also getting into three figures.

Thankyou EVERYONE who's downloaded it...

Now if I could just find the time to learn front-page and make a sodding site for it...

I think I might have been 1 of those 100. I think i downloaded it, started it up, got confused then deleted it. Or maybe that was the first one. Congratulations though!

I guess people getting confused by it was just to be expected... This is why I think I need a web site, so I cen offer some help to people to get going... Do you think people would use a VPET 1 & 2 forum?

thats a tragedy.
in comparison, bob's quest has been downloaded like 1000 times, and it sucked compared to this.

VPET 1 and 2 are some of the most fun games ever! They should've been downloaded way more than that! Who's slacking on playing them? I bet it's Unilin or someone else just as insidious!

I try not to think about how "Lazaras wants pants" has been downloaded way more times (1795) than VPET, without me having ever even eard of it!

But on those few occasions that I do think about it, I remind myself that no-one plays non-adventure-games 'round here, so it's not my fault. I bet none of the main non-adventure-games have been dowloaded much more than 100 times anyway, so I'm probably doing pretty well in this tiny field of interest...

Captain - you surely are the Captain with the Mostliest!
I liked Vege Patch 1 and though it had an air of brilliance - Vegepatch 2 was somewhat similar and much like the matrix sequals it was over the top - I think you sold out Mostly !!! *shakes fist* Neh - just kidding.

The sequil was meant to answer everyone's complaints about the first one.

People said it wasn't EXTREEM enough (so I added the against-the-clock feature) and Naranjas said he didn't like things without plots, so I added a story. And I couldn't just re-use the graphics!

And obviously, to make it a proper sequil, I needed MORE VEGETABLES and BETTER GRAPHICS and RHYTHM ACTION!!!

I guess that was selling out though...

The third one'll be mind bending!!!

I have a suggestion - I study hort and found this out last yearÃ,Â . .It might give you an idea - If you grow the same vegetable over and over again in the same bed it is more prone to get disease and will also use up all alot of nutrients and so have a less and less chance of suceeding.

Here ar my vege growing tips.
Ã,Â Ã,Â - Lime the soil and grow onions ect.
Ã,Â Ã,Â - then grow Brassicas (brocolli cabbage ect.)
Ã,Â Ã,Â Ã,Â that will use alot of nutrients
Ã,Â Ã,Â - then gow potato and parsley.
Ã,Â Ã,Â - Then carrots and rootstock as they thrive with littleÃ,Â Ã,Â Ã,Â nutients (they actually prefer it - carrots get bigger by searching for nutrients this way)
Ã,Â Ã,Â - If you fertilize it now you will have a lovely soil but aÃ,Â Ã,Â highly acidic one - This is the best time to grow tomatoes.
Ã,Â Ã,Â Ã,Â - After that lime it again to raise the pH.

Ã,Â Ã,Â Ã,Â - Repeat the process.

This is boring crap I know - but just incase you were interested - this is how it goes.

I think that botanicle accuracy has never been one of the aims of VPET... and the third one will be AGES in the making, and NOTHING like the first two... AT ALL...

But anyway, 103 last time I looked!! and 111 for VPET1!!
