Mozilla firefox adding bookmarks by itself

Yeah the topic couldn't be more clearer hehe. Sometimes I notice that firefox has added bookmarks by it's own. Does anyone know why that is? It's not that big of a deal of course but still, a little annoying.

You are probably either hitting CTRL+D or clicking the little star in the address bar on the right side on accident!

Ahh yeah that might be it! I never do ctrl-d but that star...that might be it...didn't know that added a bookmark! Thanks
