See if your ISP gives you a bit of webspace. They normally have no banners and allow hotlinking.

I can give you a bit of webspace. How much do you need? It will have a small subdomain however, l8t. I already gave some webspace to some people.

Again, I'm volunteering to give you some free webspace. I have lots and lots of it to spare. My father has a small hosting business and I as his helper get a right to give webspace to people who need it.

OK. Would I be abl;e to register to one of the above hosts, then when I need space to upload something, contact you? You see, most of these hosts only let you upload files that are less than 1Mb, or don't let you upload zips, exe's, and other USEFUL files.

Thanks alot!  :)

while to allow 250Free to catch up with demand."

i signed up with Breezeland and got this email y'day :-\...

Dear Breezeland members.

As you will know by now, Breezeland was the target of a major SPAM attack which
began on Sunday 18th. This attack resulted in Breezeland being cut off from the
network by its provider. We managed to get this particular issue resolved after
a day of negotiations with our provider.

A few days later, we were to learn that ICANN, the world registrar of domains,
had received complaints about the spam coming from the Breezeland server. ICANN
then began proceedings to take down our domain name from its registry. This
would have meant the end of the Breezeland.com name.

We were completely powerless to prevent all these events. However, we should
never have allowed unrestricted use of the php mail function. You can rest
assured that when we get back online, php mail function will stay switched off
until a solution is found.

It would seem that those individuals who planned the demise of Breezeland.com
came very very close to achieving their aims.

Kinda on the same subject, can you use a yahoo! briefcase for web-hosting?  It doesn't seem very open-ended.  The reason I ask is that they've given me 100 Megz to work with (since when do I need 100 M for pix?)

Hell, I should just stick with hosting from my own machine.  I would except that my chipset fan is louder than my car stereo so I don't wanna leave the damned thing on all the time.
