This movie here (http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/video/pistachio.php) is a very funny one. I think it's hilarious and shows just the kind of humour I want to see. Since I personally like this movie and want to share it with you, please don't flame me for liking it.
I liked it.
"I think you have the wrong number."
That is great! Haha! It should go national.
"STREBLO!"
'They think I'm crazy and I think they're investment bankers'
Lol this is the best movie I have seen all year...and by that I mean its better then Passion and Lion King 1/2
What the hell is streblo anyway?
I have no idea, and it's driving me insane.
I thought the word was funny without any context, which is why I quoted it, although I agree that some intertextual definition could be handy.....
Hey! That was pretty funny.
Streblo?
Sounds like somekind of weird brass instrument.
What is streblo anyway?
I think that's just it... I think even HE doesn't know what it is!
Illogical = Funny in a sense.
"I answered the phone and there was a soft voice that said seven days..."
The banana thing is funny in that context.
I have another thing I want to be explained. What is this song CALLED?!?
http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/shig.php
This has GOT to be one of the fastest talkers in the world
It's Busta Rhymes

Break Your Neck.
It's like Shig watched some Animutations and then decided he'd make one and failed completely
You guys DO realize that "streblo" has the same letters as "lobster," right?
Wow, this movie is brilliant. So freakin' cool.
He was looking for "lobster" in the puzzle, but it was actually the word "streblo" that was in it. His ego surpressed this misprint initially, but the nagging feeling that something was awry carried over into all aspects of his life. Only when he confronted the word puzzle did he realize that the percuptual incongruities he experienced resulted directly from a defense mechanism.
Wow! That is deep! I totally get it now! That just made me appreciate the movie ten times more I want to watch it again. Great anlysis btw
I found another idiotic movie. This is a parody of Knight rider. It's got a LADA instead of Kit

I probably shouldn't be bringing this thread back to life, but would someone care to explain the last sentence of Big Brother's post?!
It seemd to make sense to most people, but:
- Percuptual isn't a word. I assume he means perceptual.
- incongruent means 'lack of agreement/correspondence'
- A defense mechanism is an unconscious mental process that protects the ego from shame...
Therefore, the last sentence reads:
Only when he confronted the word puzzle did he realize that the perceived lack of correspondence he experienced resulted directly from a mental process that protected his ego from shame.
I'm not out to say Big Brother doesn't know what he's talking about. But this genuinely confuses me, and I want to know how someone could read this far into it, and what it SPECIFICALLY has to do with streblo!!!11one!!1
he's joking, and also he means that because the word lobster was spelled wrong in the word search it messed his entire year up and caused all the awkward things to happen, and only when he realized this did he see that the entire years events [the orangutang and the tea drinking] and their awkwardness was a result of his subconscious mind understanding that the word search was wrong and that his conscious mind was searching for the wrong thing thus destroying his reality
aaah!
*closes thread*
Thank you. Now 'I' get it... ;D
BB was, most likely, yanking your chain. Although it does work in if you do a psychoanalitic analysis.
TRANSLATION:
The guy couldn't find "LOBSTER" in his word search. This made him go nuts, because he knew that he should be able to find it. He realized at the end of the movie that he was making everything else in his life go crazy so that the missing word would make sense. That way, the one crazy thing wasn't his fault.
However, most likely it doesn't mean anything. It's like saying that Cheerios is an anagram for Shiereco. Shiereco doesn't mean anything at all. But if I blamed everything that happened in my life on this pointless fact, it would be funny. Or at least bizzarre. And bizzarre is funny.
Edit: This is what I get for writing long replies. Certain people who shall remain Colossal beat me to answering
I suspect the guy just wanted to make a goofy video.
