He thinks hydrogen fuel will work though, which is dumb because we don't have any clean source of hydrogen yet.
It's almost academic now to boot, thanks to events.
Our foreign minister keeps saying that the best way the G8 can help Africa is removing agriculture subsidies. It is true they're not doing much good to anyone in the long run, but his stance probably doesn't have anything to do with the fact that Australia, along with Canada and New Zealand, is the only industrialised country that can feed itself and export food...and hence would benefit greatly from removal of said subsidies.......

It seems to be the new Republican buzzword (buzz-term?): Hydrogen Fuel Cell. During California's recall election, Arnie Schwarezenegger (Did I spell that thing right this time) was promising Californians prominant Hydrogen use within the next 5 years as well as evenly-spaced Hydrogen refuelling stations along every major highway. Based upon people's reasons for voting for him, I think the HFC promotion garnered little reaction from either party in either direction.
On another note, why is Shbaz reading the tele?
Maybe he was reading the news ticker that scrolls trying to summarize news stories with one sentence.
And also, did the governor promise a neural-net processor (a learning computer) for ever home in California?
I heard this morning that Bush would consider scrapping US farm subsidies if teh EU got rid of theirs. There is no justification whatsoever for EU farm subsidies... not only do they constitute a huge waste of most of the EU budget (and therefore come from all EU citizens' taxes) but they actually screw up the food markets of the whole world and impoverish third-world farmers.
Come on Chirac, do the right thing!
Of course, do you think Bush would say that if there was a chance in hell that the EU would drop the subsidies?
