Title: Glastonbury 2009... anyone going?
Post by: Meowster on Tue 27/01/2009 00:00:36
Hello AGSers,

Anybody coming to Glastonbury 2009 or interested in going? There are rumours of Blur headlining this year, and a whole bunch of other great bands. Tickets are £175 but 90% of them have already been sold (yes yes, I know, before the line-up was announced...)

Glastonbury '08 was one of the best experiences of my life, so I totally recommend it. I went with a Bullfrog/Lionheader last year and this year I plan to pitch a giant Bullfrog logo by our tent (thereby making us the coolest tent EVER), and also coerce Molyneux into coming. Hopefully this will convince you that Glastonbury is the place to be this summer...

I'd love to go, but I doubt I'd be able to afford a ticket.

Molyneux

Slap him for Fable.

And I doubt I'll go.. I'd like to go to one again, been a while since I went to Reading, but none of them are good enough to warrant me spending so much money at the moment - sure they're fun, but eh.. Don't have that much to waste when I could waste it on things I'd enjoy more

Have fun though!

Ahhh Reading is not comparable to Glastonbury. Really! Glastonbury is something else :) it has everything from standup comedy and circuses, to art installations and ... oh, also music of course. And fabulous food!

But the price is too high. I'd really love to go one day, but imagine the flights at that time from Finland, the accomodation, and the tickets plus all the food. No way I'm coming either... at least not this year. I'm bound for domestic music festivals again this year. >:(

Shouldn't that be curci ;D

Reading has stand-up... I saw Phil Kay die on his arse there a few years ago... he was just NOT funny... which was a shame because I was once a bit of a fan of his... the only bit that got any laughs was when some guy when up to him, took his microphone and said "Guns don't kill people - shite comedians do!", hahaha.
