Never drop the soap, watch out for stray bullets, and head to Canadia. The US has no need for foreignors with there foreign ideas. Do drink the water, though.

You bet your life it is!  I live a few hours away from it!  Oh, don't eat at any place called "Ma's" or "Pa's".  Don't go to a motel, go to a hotel.  Don't rely on the memory of natives, bring a map.  Use US currency and don't call anybody a "Yank" or "A silly American" or other names like that.  Use "Porta-Potties" or public restrooms as little as possible.  Don't be afraid of people, most will help you out.  Plus, always bring your towel!

If you want the best weather in the world that's not some crazy tourist caribbean place or something, go to San Diego.  It's basically a cultural wasteland, but it's beautiful and the weather is constant throughout every season.  I lived there before going to college.
