I've been scratching my head several days... Cannot find a catchy name.
Game itself features modern/sci-fi creeps and weapons (jeeps, tanks, flamethrower turrets, etc) so easy way - having a fantasy name - won't do.
What I want is name to be really easy to remember, yet somewhat original.
Famous defense games, Protector or Onslaught for example are just something I'd like. Simple, yet memorable. And cool-sounding.
Also, name should be usable as in domain name also, should I make a website. If reserved, I can simply add "-game.com" or something.
What I don't want is "TD" or "defense" to appear in name. There's way too many of those.
Ideas?

Beat me to it. There are also a lot of other name generators floating around out there. My suggestion is to have one open as well as a domain registration site just to check. Googling for a name you like is also something to do, just to really make sure.
Combattle 8) [2 overlapping words in one]
A Night After Tomorrow
Black Dawn
Out Of Control
Situation 53
Unexpected
Turret Syndrome
In my current project's case, I opted for a militaryish first word ("Operation"), then picked a random word out of a dictionary ("Forklift"). Granted, mine's intended to be rather more tongue-in-cheek, but a similar line of reasoning could work if you stick to an appropriate second word.
e.g.
Mission: X
Assignment: X
X Assault
X Force
The X Line
(X being the word)
I like all Crimson Wizard suggested... most of them feel chillingly cool.
Unfortunately, Black Dawn game already exists (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Dawn_%28video_game%29). Awesome name, though.
Technocrats suggestion is good also... Operation: Black Dawn?
I'm going to think a bit more.
Kill 'em all!
...no, wait, that was a Metallica Album and I hate that band.
Slay 'em all, short: SEA
Oh, and drop us a line when the game is finished.
I'll kill 'em all, short IKEA.
No wait, that sucks...

Oh, and drop us a line when the game is finished.
I most definitely will...
Here's mine:
Circuit L12
I'll do one:
Overlord
Overlord's been taken.
Here's my try: Sentries of [insert cool name here]
:P
Aegis Core
Battle of Pasadena Canyon
WTF = When Turrets Fight. ;D
Okay, that is more a title for parody game.
Here They Come
Urban Invaders
Modern (and Sci Fi) Warfare
There Will Be Jeeps
Orange Alert
(Just a little more laid back than Red Alert)
Grey Alert
(That almost sounds cool)
I was gonna suggest "Black Alert" as an extension of the whole color thing, but on second glance, it just looks racist. Hooray Gestalt switch. Don't do this.
Incoming
(This has to have been done, though, right?)
Tank That
Firefight
Steel Apocalypse
Tower Offense: the Tower Strikes Back
Hey, Don't Get So Defensive
Barrage
Outnumbered
Barricade
That's all I got.
Oh oh. You could look up quotes from like modern generals or Winston Churchill or someone. Pick out a few unique words in order and then use them as a title. You'll look sophisticated.

I agree. The game should be called "Madam, you are ugly".
@Lyaer:
Excellent names, but
Incoming - done
Outnumbered! - done
Barrage - done
Barricade - done
are all cool game names taken already? :o
I'm gonna patent every free name, dammit

This is somehow profoundly unsurprising. Now here's some thesaurus action.
Main Entry: attack
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: physical assault
Synonyms: advance, aggression, assailing, assailment, barrage, blitz, blitzkrieg, charge, defilement, dirty deed, drive, encounter, encroachment, foray, incursion, initiative, inroad, intervention, intrusion, invasion, irruption, mugging, offense, offensive, onrush, onset, onslaught, outbreak, push, raid, rape, rush, skirmish, storming, strike, thrust, violation, volley
I assume that every single one of these that does not either sound completely innocuous or refer to sexual assault is already taken, but you never know!
EDIT: Assailment is probably your best bet from that list. Or encroachment. But encroachment sounds a bit slow and gradual, so depending on the pace it may not be appropriate, and assailment sounds like you were running out of good one word names and had to use a thesaurus.
Put the word 'Project' infront of any of the aforementioned words...
Personally I like 'Project Blitzkreig'
Tanks But No Tanks
Battleplan: Bring It On
Waves of Mutilation
Fort Stormage
Take the battlements!
Encircle and destroy
Its a tough one for that genre, as everyone said the names are pretty played out.
I think "mugging" from the list up there would sound more than great.
How about something Latin like 'Anno Domini' or 'Magister Militum'...
Ooh, with all those suggestions, I'd rather have whole series of games to name :)
Now, I'm split between two:
Enclosed or Encircled ?
I'd go Enclosed, as it seems more contained.
Pronounce them out loud. Enclosed is so much better, this should be an easy choise.
Enclosed would actually work really well after another word, like Evil Enclosed or something.

Names are trademarked not patented! ;D
Need any music for this? ;)
:D
I'd love some music.
HOWEVER
1) Planning to make it commercial... since it's my first cowardly try to profit from my hobby, meh. Cannot promise riches or even any reasonable fee
2) I imagine music as mix of action-orchestra and jungle/dnb - like during car chases in movies and so :P I know you are good at orchestra part...
I'm willing to discuss this, however... maybe via PMs
