Title: GTA Multiplayer
Post by: evenwolf on Tue 27/11/2007 13:54:56
Seems like every year I get distracted by video cameras or video games and this time its San Andreas: Multiplayer.   I've been playing on a server called "WTFman" for almost two months now so I thought I better own up.

I warn you it can be addicting, as any MMORPG can be.  I roleplay an attorney for a mafia family known as "Lawless."  I'm currently the mayor's lawyer, with a skill level of 5 in that profession.   Other jobs include: carjacker, gun dealer, taxi driver, news reporter, cop.  etc etc.

Here's a fun video of a rooftop destruction derby.   I'm in the black SUV:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vA2Rg1nZ1Ns

Download the client:  http://www.sa-mp.com/
Add WTFman Server IP:  75.126.37.11:6777

Currently ranked 5 overall on game-monitor.com & 2nd in the country.  The player count never drops below forty and usually peaks at 100 on a normal day.  Come check it out and be brutally beaten and driven over by cars.  It's definitely an RP server so I advise you not to DM or attack just anybody you encounter.   It usually comes back to bite you in the ass.  If you can find me and drop me a hint, I'd be more than willing to show you around.   The best advice I can give you is obtain your license and get a job as soon as you can.

Sounds interesting, the last multiplayer San Andreas I played was ages ago, it was just a random team death match. It was a very cool feeling I had when I was in a car by myself, and a gang was chasing me in another car and I drove up the side of a steep hill so they followed, and quickly landed back onto the road, out-skilling (Is that even a word?) my enemy, as they failed to stablize the car and landed on their roof, blowing them all up, hahaha!

I was a GTA addict for a while. I don't have San Andreas on my laptop hear at school, but I might check it out when I get home.
