Have you seen this???

That's the most impressing game I've seen lately. What a wonderful combination of alife, strategy, and playing god.
It's amazing, control everything from the amoeba state of the life forms to more complex animals, intelligent beings and then their culture and society, later get a UFO and go discovering more civilizations around the universe.
And all that can be customized by the user!

I don't know if that game is in process or has already been released or is just a utopical dream, but it looks great.

Looks like it's fully functional to me.. Just not yet released, for I would own this thing by now.
You. Me. Denny's.

Ok, I see you are all as excited as me. :P
Anyway I won't be able to play it because I'll probably never have a Pentium VIII and a terabyte/s connection.

Well, the ONLY thing that worries me about all of this is that it'll be so ambitious an undertaking that parts of the game will be severly lacking and/ or that it just won't live up to all the glorious hype that's behind it.

The potential that the online component of it has to make the game that much greater is so very, very cool. And that it'll all be pulled off as a munch of algorithms and such... wow. I really, REALLY hope this'll be all it's cracked up to be. It has such tremendous potential... then again, so did Fable. And though some said it was good and all, from what I understand (never played it yet), it didn't exactly do everything that they were saying it would.

Spore, though, sound like it might be very near completion somehow... so could it really BE all they're claiming it to be. Time'll tell, I guess.

I hope it's as good as it sounds. It would really appeal to my megalomaniac tendencies...

The game was designed by the guy who made "The Sims" who was quite a succesfull game that also had features that weren't in any game when it was first released. Maybe he hits the nail once again with this title.

Better hope he didn't hit the same Nail as The Sims if you want more than a couple of hours of fun :P

It looks like it should be good, I will get it for sure just to see.
