Yes, have an explosively happy 4th!!!   :D

But unfortunately for me, I've got a cold!!!  I think this must be the first time I've been sick on the 4th of July.

Anyway, happy 4th the rest of you Americans!!

Indeed! Happy Fourth of July to all my American brethren! Today is a day to embrace the Independence of the American mind and spirit.

May you all have a great one!

In states where fireworks are legal (mine at least) people are popping fireworks everywhere, even artillery shells.. I was hurrying like hell at the gas station.
Once I killed a man. His name was Mario, I think. His brother Luigi was upset at first, but adamant to continue on the adventure that they started together.

It's hilarious. On Canadian TV Stations on July 1st (Canada Day), we have things on John A. MacDonald, and the forming of Canada. History stuff. Yet on American Channels on July 4th, they show Independance Day (You know, with Will Smith).

In all honesty... I kinda liked the history stuff better.
I make music.

Ã,  I think this must be the first time I've been sick on the 4th of July.Ã,

Well a first happened today for me also. A car crashed into my house. It was quite strange, apparently their steering wheel just stopped working, but luckily their brakes were ok. All they managed to destroy was our fence and a couple of trash cans. The funny thing is they weren't even drunk...  :P

These pictures were taken over the lake, as Sara and I sat by my pool in the backyard ...

I let the shutter stay open a little longer than usual to catch the light streak effects ... I was just playing around.

Sluggo, that must have been a very weird experience.

Darth Mandarb, nice pictures. Here's two I took:

Bah. My second shot is too large for my free server to show (can't direct-link files over 250K).

We have those other channels you probably don't watch that show nothing but history year round. Mostly it's not Will Smith movies so much as it is infomercials and fireworks on major networks.

Most people don't really watch TV on the Fourth. It's fireworks and BBQs, mostly. I didn't really watch TV, but I think ABC had a show about the U.S. Military or something, I don't know, I missed it.

Congratulations to Greece to win the Euro 2004 on the 4th of july! I think thats even a bigger archievement than American independence... well, but I guess its ok for you Americans to celebrate something too, so best wishes to all of you! :)

Yeah, I watched TV for the first time in over a week today. When I was in school I used to be stuck in the house all of the time because we lived out in the country and I couldn't drive, there would be old movies, fireworks, and infomercials on public TV so I'd watch the good movies and blow things up in between. On Satellite it's not so much a problem, because there are specialized channels for everything. We were too poor for satellite at the time though.
