Those of you who have already celebrated the New Year are now in a different decade than those of us who have not yet celebrated it. :) Congrats!

Thank you! Happy New Year to all! I broke the time space continuum!!! :D
May this decade bring us prosperity, more grants for global warming research, and space elevators. Happy new year! (To everybody who's one year ahead of me too! :D)
Happy new year to all too :) !! But i am 3 hours late here :D . And to anyone that's on the other side of the world see you next year. ;D .
HAPPY NEW YEAR AGS FORUMS
Have a new year.
Happy New Year Everyone!
Tee minus 2 hours and counting here. Our friends are late, those bastards. :)
-Bill
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Out with the old and in with the new, may God bless us all, that our resolutions become true!
Happy New 2010 year everyone!
Happy new year everyone ;D (6 hours late where I am, but still)
I have a feeling 2010 will be amazing
Speaking from the future, you will find the future to be very tiring.
Pedants will of course point out that the new decade doesn't start until 2011. :)
I'm sure we've had this debate before, but basically its based on AD meaning "of our Lord" (it means this whether you're a Christian or not) and therefore year numbers are ordinal numbers, of which the first number is "first" and not "zeroth". Therefore the first decade AD began in the year 1 and ended at the end of year 10 and the second decade went 11-20 etc. Therefore the third millenium goes 2001-3000 and this decade runs 2001-2010.

Actually that's true.
But 2010 sounds so cool. I remember when I was a child I was wondering, will I live to 2000? 2010 seem too far away to even question. :)
I plan to quit smoking this year :-X

Starting in year one and not year zero makes logical sense if the bc/ad system was made by people who lived at this time, although if my memory has not failed me, this year system came into use somewhere in the realm of 500 years later. (Referring, of course, to the time I heard/read this fact. I was not there 1500 years ago ;))
Also, if you follow the pattern from the back (i.e. counting
up through the BC's)then this would be 0 BC, 0 years before Christ, making the next year 'year one'.
Furthermore, AFAIK, the majority of historians agree that the actual birth of Christ was at least a few years out of kilter with the system, so being pedantic here is hypocritical because the figure is only approximate anyway.
For this reason, I choose to celebrate the new decade on the 'zeroth', and also because this is the most climatic year, for you get to see the number in the tens column roll over, :) or as we saw last decade, the hundreds. :D
So, AGS Community; Happy New Decade!
But there's no such word of zeroth whether it is accurate or started later or not.
Of course, everyone goes by decades starting when the 9 rolls over to a zero in reality so its a pointless discussion, rather like angels on a pinhead.
I made my last New Year's Resolution in 2000.
It was, "I resolve to make no more New Year's Resolutions".
I'm proud to say I've not broken the resolution once.
Last night I was playing Unchartered and didn't even realize twenty-ten had begun.
Just another day, just another new year's eve spent alone...
Oh, man, Darth, you can come live with my wife and I (no wonder you're so bitter).
Happy new year everyone.
ps
just kidding, Darth old boy ;)
I like spending NYE alone, it's very relaxing:D
Spent the night making a robot from cardboard and wooden skewers! Ok, that sounds lamer than it was.
Happy new years all.
And I made my website template into html/CSS form using notepad. :)
It's just another day in the big ol' meat grinder. May as well do something you enjoy instead of pretending that this one day is different. ;D
I worked on a game, figuring that if I did so it would bode well for the year.
I'm not superstitious.
For the following year I wish I can cut down the nasty habit of spending long hours playing KingsAge, therefore not spending long hours with AGS...
I also want to make a decent game with scanned drawings but that's what I say every year!
Happy new year to everybody!
Happy New Year, agsers! I love you all :D
Late to the party, but I've had to recuperate from the NYE parties I went to - which, by the way, were totally worth it. Good people, great fun, good start of the new year :)
Happy new year, y'all!
Looking forward to seeing some of those projects I've been reading/salivating about for so long either be released or drop more promo material the coming 12 months :)
New years eve was fun. Spent it socializing with other people and having a great time.
I did a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
Everything was nice and relaxed and nobody fell over.
Happy 2010! \o/
10 years of this! :o
;D
Here's to 10 more! ::)
Happy new year!

Yep! I spent new years eve with friends whilst also worrying about getting the latest UFO Watch (http://www.screen7.co.uk/ufo/) done...and after 3 unsucessful attempts through the day it finally processed at about 11.40pm, just before the new year :D But writing a description at that time after playing Ring of fire (a drinking game) was a problem. I practically passed out by 11.58pm... Oh, and then we played the piano and sang very loudly into the early hours of the morning. Then we got a cab, my mate got his finger trapped in the door, went home to bed... Tried to not let it be a day any different to others but it most certainly was!
Entertaining and silly. Make UFO Watch episodes more often, mods.
Happy New Year and Decade people!
May it bring more games and more good times!
I spent New Years Eve in IRC. And in a noisy, irritating and smokey party. But mostly in IRC :P
Happy 2010, everyone.
I spent new years eve running around somewhat intoxicated and without clothes. Good times. Happy 2010!
I spent it eating olie bolla!
LOTS OF IT!
Yay for the end of last year!
Oliebollen and appelbeignets for the win, wonkyth!
Also, I totally met a cute girl. So to those saying "it's a regular day", how's that for it not being a standard day? :P
Is there a girl shortage where you live, voh? Or just cute ones?
Haha, nah, but there is a shortage of cute girls I manage to talk to without breaking out in teh sweats. I am a huge nerd/dork/geek, after all.
Oh, and I forgot one little detail.
At one point I noticed she has ScummVM on her phone. She likes p&c adventure games. There's a shortage of adventure-game loving cute girls everywhere, I assume :p

Marry her this instant. Don't ask questions, just do it. TRUST ME ON THIS
Will do!
She has ScummVM? Well well well well well...
YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DOIN.
People who say "It's just a regular, ordinary day" are usually shut-in pricks who are miserable in social gatherings and don't like to celebrate anything, let alone a brand new year. Stay at home, I say. ;)
