Hi all,

I presented Blackwell Unbound at the NYC IGDA 6th Bi-Annual Demo Night last week.  The presentation was taped and should be up on youtube soon, but in case anyone is interested in seeing what went on, there have been some small writeups:

-Game Career Guide's write up (Unbound is on page 3)
-Crowd Control's writeup

Sounds really cool, Dave. Looking forward to the video!

Bumping this to make you aware that the videos of the Blackwell Unbound presentation are up now. I just started watching, and Dave's speech is every bit as interesting as his excellent The Shivah presentation.

- Blackwell Unbound Part 1
- Blackwell Unbound Part 2
- Blackwell Unbound Part 3

Edit: Be aware that the first two vids contain a couple of spoilers. But as with the Shivah presentation and the game commentaries, it's utterly fascinating as well as fun to listen to your take on game development, Dave. Every time I watch or listen to them I feel greatly inspired and motivated to work on my own game. I'm looking very much forward to trying the game.

Greatness. Mark my words, Dave, I will buy Shivah and the Blackwells once I have conceivable time to really get into them :D. Great job!

EDIT:
Casablanca also looks very interesting. What a weird game concept.

Thanks GG!  Didn't even know this was out yet.

Yeesh I'm so stammery and unshaven.

Same here. I like when people talk about their games and give a glimpse behind the scenes. Well done Dave, that was really enjoyable!

Just watched them while downloading Unbound, really interesting.  I had a group project in my second semester and we did an adventure game. As part of the marking, there was a day of presenting the games, we were the last group to present and the only group that didn't use powerpoint! :D  Had a similar setup in AGS, some stuff to go through for an intro then dived into showing off the game, ended up getting 81/100 for our presentation.
