I'm not sure on this but I still think that 5 letters are manageable. At least with dogtag design I still hope will be implemented... foz???
But if it's not possible script-wise, then it's not possible. I am not the one to decide.

JAZ: unless we make the Dogtags longer the names are stuck at 4 letters.....we could probaly squeeze another letter but thats back at you for the dogtag......i don`t mind....

Theres lots of names done so might be best to put this a the back of the to do list....maybe change before release....

depends on the font used and if it's possible to script it. My design (look at avatar) uses Courier New font size 7 (PSP 7) and should be OK for 5 letters even embossed. But I don't know if it's possible for you to make it look this way...
