I watched that movie today and at first, I thought that it would be more mysterious, but it turned out to be a pretty nasty movie.

"House of Wax" wasn't that bad. Better than I had expected. The commercial spots only showed the death of the character played by Paris Hilton. And she is an incredible ungifted actor.

I say, while we're on the topic of wax-museum-horror-movies - can anyone tell me what was the name of an older similar-themed horror movie? It was NOT the Vincent Price one, it's an italian one.

In which the wax did NOT cover the victims, but was injected into them replacing the blood. The bad guy turned out to be a robot covered in wax. Stuff like that. Despite the bad-guy-twist I justr described, the film impressed me as unexpectedly creepy.
