Title: How can I search a site for a link?
Post by: LRH on Sun 24/07/2011 17:54:21
...that is, if it is possible.

I saw that recently I've been getting traffic from: http://www.thesyracusefanblog.com/
on my website. I checked the site, but it has nothing to do with what I put on my site. This happens all the time and I tend to ignore it, but what makes this strange is that I live in Syracuse, and when I visit the site I can't find where the link to my site is, or how it could possibly be relevant.

So, is there a way to kind of search for a link on this site?

Well depending how old the link(s) in question may be, Google is capable of searching them (provided their crawlers have indexed the posts). For example:
site:adventuregamestudio.co.uk mediafire.com (http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aadventuregamestudio.co.uk+mediafire.com)
P.S. I would have used your link to the blog site as a reference, but it was too new. :P
