Hey, not so almighty there, are you? You might want to look at the link saying "How do I post images, smileys and formatting?" when creating a new topic or an answer. It will immediately become clear to you what to do and your omnipotence will be restored at once.

Upload a picture to a website like Photobucket, etc.

Then in the forums in your profile it will let you direct that link to your pic.

For example...Upload a picture to Photobucket or another site then use this

(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/skeith2572/forum.jpg)

This will then show your avatar.

(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/skeith2572/clown1.gif)

His avatar is from Starchaser: The Legend of Orin, a pretty fricken cool Heavy Metal style cartoon from the old days.  The guy in the image is a Han Solo ripoff named Dagg who is reprogramming a robot via an ass-flap mechanism (seriously!).
