I posted for a bit.. moved across the country..  came back.  So, off and on for 3 years.  Beware getting trapped in the forums, though.. it distracts you from the important things in life.. like actually working on a game.

There have been a few times when I've thought of leaving. It wasn't becuase of anybody or anything, it was just that I wasn't making any games and I was just kinda hanging around. Wich I still kinda am.

But I changed my mind becuase I figured I could at least keep doing music for people.

Anyway, stay as long as you like! Even if you never make a game you can at least help people with their stuff or whatever.

It depends on whether these forums are your cup of tea, of course. Some people leave after a couple of weeks when they realise it's not for them. If you don't leave within a month, as leks says you will never have another chance

I came during the last few months of the ezboards, and about last January I left. Then, in early May, I thought I'd drop in for a few minutes, and I've been here ever since.
You cannot get rid of membership, you can only try to supress it.

I have to agree that being here distracts from working on games.  I've not been here too long, but whenever I find myself consistently working on my game, it's during a period of very low forum on participation on my part, and vice versa.  Beware!

Well, I have been here for what... 5 months? I never get tired of AGS but the forum distracts me from finishing my current game. Damn forums
