How to insert the picture I made into the message?
Also, when I set the web-site for pointing to my avatar image (I found on Google) only a small red-X appears
instead of the picture! Why does that happen?

When you are making a reply, above the message box, there is a link called "BBCode and Smilies reference" which is also this link

also, depending on your internet host/site, you may need to change your image tag to this.
