Broken links

This is such a brill site but I have a little complaint - there are loads of broken links on download games page - does anyone check these out?

Just a suggestion, try right clicking and selecting Save Target As.

That occasonally works.  Otherwise, the links are just down.

Each of the game download links are managed by the game's author. Therefore, even if we know the link is broken there's not much we can do to fix it.

The usual problem is that somebody releases their game and then leaves the community - after a while perhaps their site gets taken down, so the link no longer works, but they're no longer around to fix it.

Perhaps there should be an "e-mail the game author" link or something so that people can report broken links directly to the person responsible.

I also am saddend by the amount of broken links for games of the site. So many cool looking games and I can't touch them! Bah!
If there's anyone out there with the games and is willing to burn them to CD and post them on ebay, I'll buy 'em.
