Wow. Tis a pity. Makes me want to read "Fear and Loathing" even more now; the movie just rocked my socks.

Wow... It's terrible to hear when someone dies, but even more terrible when it's self-inflicted. He was an amazing writer...

After you read that, check out "Songs Of The Doomed" - that's a good read too.

Same happened to Fitzgerald..  And many others, I'm sure.

Many writers seem to suffer through macbre, awkward, or depressing lives, deaths, and eternites.


edit: "After you read that, check out "Songs Of The Doomed" - that's a good read too." - Both are on my Amazon Wish-list. When I have enough money to buy them, I will do so.

I've lost a personal hero.  The man was a true Psychenaught.

Its very sad when someone dies but is it just me or are these forums getting more and depressing ???
