Just in time for the new AGS band I purchased a new kit on Saturday morning.  For you drum geeks out there, it is a Tama Superstar Hyperdrive.   The shells are all 7-ply Birch and the kit sounds fantastic and bright.  Here are some pics. (And sorry for the quality was using my phone).

I bought an epiphone les paul this weekend, so hooray for being poor + noisy :P

We can both be poor and noisy together.  This kit all up retail was $7000, but because of the Billy Hyde music store sale on Sat I was able to get it for $3500.

Just noticed those rims and lugs xeno... they look bronze?  :o

Hey Chicky,

Haha that is just the camera due to the flash.  The hardware is black iodized which is pretty.  I was very tempted to buy the PDP kit but in the end I got the Tama cause it came with a 20"x22" kick drum and the short stack toms 10"x6.5" and 12"x7" toms :)
